Positive: It was a nice tucked away place, but close to circle K, a couple of restaurants, laundry, some really nice bars and a 5 min walk to the beach.
The rooms were cleaned daily by the very friendly staff. Our showers didn't work properly, but was fixed the next day. The kitchen had the basics. The water dispenser had hot for coffee or tea and had normal or cold filtered water. Pool area and the pool itself was always clean.
Was a great place for it's price.

Negative: The place just needed a bit of TLC, looked a bit tired, but not too tired. Not much I didn't like about the place.
I do think the pool has a leak though

Our stay at the Bali Zen Den Villa was amazing! The bedrooms and bathrooms were a generous size and the air conditioners in the bedrooms worked well. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and handy items like scissors. There was also a water cooler which was great to refill our drink bottles.

The villa is down a laneway off the Main Street, making it super close to restaurants and shops yet quiet and peaceful at night time. Gojeks could easily come down the laneway however, big vans and cars struggled. If travelling to or from the villa via car or van, I would recommend walking to the top of the laneway and/or stating your location as 'Bali Blow Bar' which is a hair dressers at the top of the laneway. This made our transport to and from the villa much easier!

Villa D’Kubu was in a fantastic location surrounded by many great eateries. The pools table upstairs was a bonus for the men, but could do with some new cues. The women felt safe enough coming home alone as the gang (laneway) offers sufficient lighting. The living area was a bonus with great aircon and a super comfy couch. The tv offers Netflix, YouTube etc, but no local channels.
We spent 10 x nights here and our only complaint would be that the pool was only cleaned once during our stay. The housekeeper (Adit) was lovely and was very responsive to anything that was needed. Overall was a good stay.

Bali Zen Den Villas was in an amazing location in the heart of Seminyak but away from the hustle and loud nature of the area. We went with 6 adults and it was super handy to have a bathroom in each room. The pool area was also super clean, Asti was super amazing! I cannot forget to mention Kristina's great communication, she was always super attentive and helped us out with everything and anything!

La maison correspondait parfaitement à la description : spacieuse, propre, et idéalement située au calme, tout en étant proche des principales attractions. Chaque détail a été soigné, ce qui a rendu notre séjour très agréable. Mention spéciale pour l’hôte, incroyablement réactif et attentif à nos besoins. Il a su répondre à toutes nos questions rapidement et s’est assuré que nous ne manquions de rien. Je recommande vivement cette villa et n’hésiterai pas à y revenir lors de notre prochain séjour à Bali !

Had a great stay. Proximity to great cafés and restaurants around. Housekeeping staff did a good work of cleaning the rooms and the Pool. Rooms were quite spacious.

Great option if you want to be near the beach. The walk is uninspiring but short. The host and especially the people cleaning and supporting us when 2 of our group lost their valuable and passports on the beach, we fantastic.

Cosy Villa in an amazing location. About 5-8mins walk to Seminyak Square. Great common space and well equipped kitchen. Communication with the host was also great!
